Padilla's Popcorn Roast

Jake, Alex, Natty, Paloma, Rachel, and Stevie taste and discuss Jake's effort to roast coffee in a popcorn popper.

I'm having some issues with Opendrive; not all of my podcast links are being recognized by feedburner, so I'm trying out a new file host, hark.com. Does it work?? Ok, revision to my link on 5.14.... does it work now????

  1. Well, so far so good! You can download by clicking the title and feedburner picked up the mp3. Yes!! The only drawback is the hark.com embedded player does not have a volume control.

  2. Upon further review, I like Hark even more. You can skip ahead in the Hark player; you cannot skip in the Open Drive player. Plus, Hark is built public like youtube, and Open Drive is a personal storage space. I don't think Hark has any limits on storage or bandwidth usage, either.

  3. I have my doubts.

Podcasting and audio recording... why don't I do video? I'm missing out on all the visuals!

Hark is all soundclips from movies and famous speeches as far as I could find from the main pages and links. You are hard pressed to find original user content like on youtube. Again, why am I doing audio while everyone else is doing video?? There are a billion sites for bands to upload their music. Youtube takes care of all the video. I mean, who is recording audio?

Hark exists, though, as the audio youtube. I have a home as a renegade folk populist historian podcaster!
